No more chemo
The Last Few Chemos Were Rough but now they are over
Chemo Treatments Over, Thank God
I feel so blessed. The PET scan showed no cancer. This meant I did not have to take the last chemo treatment. I’m not sure if I could have took it and come out well.
I feel so blessed. Now, I only have to go for fluids twice a week. This is a piece of
cake.
The only serious problem I’ve had was an staph infection in my port. I was in the hospital for a few days but it cleared up nicely. I was glad that it wasn’t the bad kind and that it responded to treatment. My daughter has some information on the bad kind, which is called MRSA on her blog: Antibiotic-resistant strains of staph
So far, no more major complications. A few minor complications like stinging and numb feet and fingers, which I hope will soon clear up but if not it’s very little to pay for no cancer.
I am not only grateful to God but to Dr. Depasquales and sweet Maria and all the staff at Women’s Oncology in Chattanooga.
