Update — New Port Needed
Well, I had to have the port in my chest taken out because it kept getting infected.
I had to go back in the hospital to have the infection taken care of, then my doctor removed the port.
However, since I still needed to get fluids, it was decided that another port was needed.
They did it in the doctor’s office and I joked with the doctor all through it. Not bad. I am doing great. My leg still hurts though.
Really glad they got that other port out because it had been infected more than once.
I am enjoying being able to get up and around better now and feeling good.
